If you would like to attend, or schedule one modified to meet your needs, please contact us. Clinics, themes, subjects, etc - can all be tailored to meet your (or your barns) needs.

  • March 12-13
    Leading and Trailer Loading

    Location:Silent Farm, Goshen, NY
    Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 PM
    Does your horse run away with you? Do you find yourself jogging along side him to keep up, or yanking his head to keep him from bolting off? Do you spend hours trying to get your horse in or out of a trailer? Does he walk over you? Have you been injured or stepped on, while trying to handle your horse? Then this clinic is for you. In just a short time Tom will teach you to teach your horse to lead politely on a loose lead. Additionally you will be taught to teach your horse to load on to, and off of, the trailer safely and when asked. Please contact us if you would like to participate in this clinic.

  • April 9-10
    Ground Control & Safely Picking up Your Horses Feet

    Location:Silent Farm, Goshen, NY
    Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 PM
    Does your farrier dread coming to your home? Can you not safely pick up all four of your horses feet and have him stand still? Does your horse run over you when you're walking or leading him? You need to attend this clinic. Learn how to get your horse to be courteous, polite, respectful of your space, and more responsive to the bridle.   • May 21-22
    Controlling Your Horses Engine - The Hips

    Location:To Be Announced, local location
    Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 PM
    Does your horse stop, slow down, turn, and pick up the correct lead when you ask him to? If not, then better hip control is for you! You can control speed, turn, stop better, help prevent bucks, and much more - all by controlling your horses hip! This clinic will teach you how to better work the hip, to result in a more responsive horse and a smoother, safer ride! Please contact us if you would like to participate in this clinic.

  • June 11-12
    Controlling Your Horses Steering & More - The Shoulders

    Location:To Be Announced, local location
    Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 PM
    Many people steer their horse entirely with the horses nose or neck. A better way to control and steer your horse is by controlling his shoulder. This clinic will teach you to move the horse with shoulder control. Please contact us if you would like to participate in this clinic.

  • July 23-24
    Stopping and Going

    Location:To Be Announced, local location
    Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 PM
    Tired of wearing out your legs to get your horse to take a step, or speed up? Can't stop your horse in less than the length of a football field, or without pulling a muscle? Then this clinic is for you! Tom will take you through exercises that will develop and improve your 'go forward' and 'stop' cues. Tom will also change the way you look at the 'stop', all while making your horse more responsive to a lighter cue! Please contact us if you would like to participate in this clinic.

  • August 13-14
    Putting it All Together

    Location:To Be Announced, local location
    Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 PM
    Here we will build on the tools that were developed in previous clinics, and begin to work with the whole horse, incorporating the horse's ribcage (barrel), and the idea that we ride two horses the 'left' and 'right' (this will be explained during the clinic).Please contact us if you would like to participate in this clinic.   • September 3-4
    Crossing Obstacles

    Location:To Be Announced, local location
    Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 PM
    Have you ever had to end a ride because you couldn't get your horse to cross a stream, or had to change your route because of a "horse eating mailbox"? If so, try this clinic. Tom will teach you the techniques you'll need to get get you and your horse to the other side, SAFELY and CALMLY. Please contact us if you would like to participate in this clinic.

  • November 12
    Things for Winter

    Location:To Be Announced, local location
    Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 PM
    Tom will teach you several things that you can teach, or improve upon with your horse during the winter months. The weather will limit your training time and where you can train, but there is still much that you can do! Please contact us if you would like to participate in this clinic.
